
During the duration of the Paralympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a look at a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Ukraine’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Bronze in the Women’s Long Jump T11 Athletics competition.
Ukraine have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 16 times. In 2004, when the Contest took place in Istanbul, Turkey, Ukraine achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. Ruslana performed “Wild Dances”and achieved a total of 280 points.
In 2016, when the Contest took place in Stockholm, Sweden, Ukraine achieved another 1st place. Jamala performed “1944” and achieved a total of 534 points.
