During the duration of the Olympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Portugal’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Gold in the Men’s Triple Jump Athletics competition.
Portugal have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 43 times. In 2017, when the Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine, Portugal achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. Salvador Sobral performed “Amar pelos dois” and achieved a total of 758 points.
