
During the duration of the Olympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Norway’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Gold in the Men’s Triathlon competition.
Norway have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 56 times. In 1985, when the Contest took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, Norway achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. In 2009, when the Contest took place in Moscow, Russia, Norway achieved another 1st place. Alexander Rybak performed “Fairytale” and achieved a total of 387 points.
