Norway will be present at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, with submissions for Melodi Grand Prix 2022 open until Sunday 15th August.
The Norwegian national broadcaster, NRK, encourages that registered entries have at least one Norwegian songwriter, as Melodi Grand Prix wants to prioritise and promote Norwegian music life. Each producer and/or songwriter can also sign up for a maximum of three songs.
Melodi Grand Prix 2022 will once again be made up of a format using both Semi Finals and a Grand Final – a format initially introduced to select Norway’s 60th entry in 2020.
