
On Wednesday, the BBC announced that Daði Freyr’s “Think About Things” would be the song choice for a Cha, Cha, Cha this weekend – performed by Jamie Laing and his professional partner Karen Hauer.
Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið were due to represent Iceland at this year’s cancelled Eurovision Song Contest. You can watch the official video below:
On Saturday, the BBC published a video promoting the show that evening across their social media feeds, based on Daði Freyr’s “Think About Things” and the programme’s start time of 19:25 GMT.
On seeing the BBC’s video, Daði Freyr had the following response:
“Wow!, just Wow!”
Last night, Jamie and Karen took to the ballroom floor with their Cha, Cha, Cha. They scored a total of 14 out of 30. You can watch their performance below:
Over the coming days, we will look back at when the worlds of the Eurovision Song Contest and Strictly Come Dancing have previously met.
