Greece was one of the debuting nations at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2003. They carried on participating at the Contest until they withdrew after the 2008 edition. ERT were responsible for all six Greek participations.

Greece’s best placing came in 2005, when Alexandros and Kalli placed 6th with the song “Tora einai i seira mas”.

Is there a sign of future participation? Back in 2015, ERT examined the prospect at returning to the Contest, however have yet to make a return.
