It has just been revealed that Rotterdam has been chosen ahead of Maastricht to host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The Semi Finals will take place on 12th & 14th May, with the Grand Final will take place on 16th May.

Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, had the following to say:

“Rotterdam has shown fantastic enthusiasm and commitment and has the right facilities to welcome delegations from over 40 countries next May. We look forward to working with Rotterdam and NPO, NOS and AVROTROS on an incredible state-of-the-art Eurovision Song Contest in a great city next year.”
