During the day, news about a possible Slovakian debut at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest has come to light. Eurovision Takeover have sourced a quote given to Eurofestivales.

The RTVS Spokesperson told Eurofestivales:

“RTVS currently supervises and evaluates in detail the possibilities of cooperation in the Junior Eurovision Festival.”

Slovakia first showed interest in the Contest during it’s inaugural year, 2003. Could a debut in this year’s Contest, in Gliwice, be a practice run for a return to the Eurovision Song Contest?
