The ABU member broadcaster from Vanuatu, VBTC, has revealed to Eurovoix World, that they will be participating at the inaugural ABU Song Contest this year.

While the broadcaster hasn’t revealed any national selection details, they are already on the search for their artist/s. This could suggest an internal selection, but nothing has been confirmed.

It is important to remember, that unlike the various ABU Festivals, the ABU Song Contest is only open to full ABU members. Vanuatu was one of the countries to show interest in the Eurovision Asia Song Contest too.
