#JuniorMemories: Part 5 – Denmark & Sweden

We have seen all of this year’s participating countries rehearse once so far this year – but what about the countries thats have participated in the Contest previously?

Denmark

Denmark first took part at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in the first three Contests, before eventually withdrawing before the 2006 edition.

Denmark had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the 2005 Contest, which was held in Hasselt, Belgium. Nicolai Kielstrup finished in 4th place with his entry “Shake, Shake, Shake”.

Sweden

Sweden first took part at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in eleven Contests 2003-07 and 2009-14, before eventually withdrawing before the 2015 edition.

Sweden had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the 2006 Contest, which was held in Bucharest, Romania. Molly Sanden finished in 3rd place with her entry “Det finaste nagon kan fa”.
