
Submissions for the second edition of Destination Eurovision have now opened in France. According to Destination Eurovision and EBU rules, the song must not be published before September 1st and specifically for the National Selection, the submissions must not be commercially available before the Contest.
With average viewing figures of 2.1 million people, the 2019 edition of Destination Eurovision may see a change to get the attention of more local viewers. The show however was praised by Eurovision fans, after years of French internal selections.
Earlier this year, the first edition of Destination Eurovision picked Madame Monsieur to represent the French. They finished in 13th place in Lisbon, with 173 points.
