Each day, I aim to bring you a couple of highlights and lowlights from this year’s Contest here in Lisbon. What did Day 4 have to offer us?

Highlights

• While Georgia cast you back to the classic 1990’s of the Contest, it also had a Causcaus twist on Il Yolo from 2015. Simple and effective.
• Christabelle from Malta had some amazing staging. The fact that the screens were physically there on stage misled the eye to begin with – thinking there was more CGI trickery going on!

Lowlights

• Poland, just please get rid of that Dad dancing involved within the performance.
• Slovenia, while I didn’t see the rehearsal, I gather you need to rethink your stage show.
