Today at Kyiv’s City Hall took place a special draw in order to distribute 37 countries into one of the two semi-finals of 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
During the draw it was also determined in which half of the semi-final the countries are to perform.
A total 0f 43 countries will participate at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv this May. 37 countries will compete in the semi-finals, whilst the BIG 5 and the host country Ukraine will perform in the Grand final.

Semi-final 1 (May 9th)

The BIG 5 (Spain, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy) and the host country Ukraine competing in the grand final on 13 May will vote during the following semifinals:
- France: Semi-final 2
- Germany: Semi-final 2
- Italy: Semi-final 1
- Spain: Semi-final 1
- Ukraine: Semi-final 2
- United Kingdom: Semi-final 1
