Ireland’s Eurovision 2016 representative Nicky Byrne and Irish television presenter Amanda Byram will host the Irish version of the US celebrity dance contest “Dancing with the Stars”.
In case you didn’t know, Nicky was a contestant on the UK’s version of the show “Strictly Come Dancing” back in 2012, being the ninth contestant eliminated.
The contestants from this year’s edition are: sports broadcaster Des Cahill, comedian Katherine Lynch, Dr Eva Orsmond, reporter Teresa Mannion, HomeTown singer Dayl Cronin, Big Brother star Hughie Maughan, model Thalia Heffernan, footballer Aidan O’Mahony, actresses Aoibhin Garrihy and Denise McCormack and comedian Des Bishop.
The first epsiode of the show starts tonight (Sunday) at 18:30 local time on RTE One.
