RUSSIA – Sergey Lararev : Update following his collapse on stage

You may have seen the shocking news from St Petersburg yesterday as 2016 Russian artist Sergey Lazarev collapsed on stage during a live performance. We are pleased to report that Sergey is ok, he posted this photo & had this message to say to his fans on Instagram this morning.

Дорогие друзья! Честно говоря, я сам в шоке от того, что вчера со мной произошло на сцене в Питере! Я никак не мог ожидать , что организм даст такой сбой , тем более , в такой важный для меня момент, как концерт в любимом Санкт-Петербурге, которого я так ждал! Да, в последние несколько месяцев я нахожусь в гастрольном туре , также играю спектакли в театре , активно репетирую и готовлюсь представить нашу страну на конкурсе Евровидение в мае- возможно, все это в целом, немного ослабило мой стойкий организм и он решил мне показать, что иногда ему надо уделять чуть больше внимания. Друзья, Я прошу прощения у всех зрителей Санкт-Петербурга и Таллина (запланированный концерт 10 апреля) , за доставленные неудобства в связи с переносами концертов на июнь!! Все билеты действительны! Итак, до встречи, ТАЛЛИН- 4 июня САНКТ-ПЕТЕРБУРГ- 9 июня!! Спасибо за понимание!

“Dear friends! Honestly I’m really shocked about yesterday’s accident on the stage in Saint-Petersburg! I didn’t expect that my body would fail that way, especially during such an important moment, during a long-awaited concert in my beloved Saint-Petersburg.

Yes, I’m on tour for last few months, I’ve been playing in theatre, rehearsing and getting ready to represent our country in Eurovision in May – maybe all these things caused my body to fail on me and that’s a sign that I must pay more attention to looking after myself.

Dear friends, I apologize to the audience in Saint-Petersburg and Tallinn (planned concert on 10th of April) for the inconvenience due to moving my concerts to June! All the tickets are valid! So see you
Tallinn – 4th of June, Saint-Petersburg – 9th of June!

We’re thrilled that Sergey is well and look forward to see him in Stockholm in few weeks time.
