Macedonia: Save the date – March 7th is Kaliopi Time!

It has now been confirmed that Macedonian TV MKRTV will premier Kaliopi‘s song for Eurovision 2016 on March 7th. The song is titled ‘Dona’ and will be premiered on March 7th at 20:15 CET on a special broadcast on the First Chanel on MKRTV.

‘Dona’ sees the musical partnership of Kaliopi and Romeo Grill continue to shine. Romeo composed, arranged and produced the music for the song and Kaliopi has written the lyrics. Sounds like a marriage made in heaven again!

Kaliopi and Romeo have made sweet music before as they were behind Macedonia’s now legendary song ‘Crno i Belo’ which last saw the country in the Grand Final of the contest back in 2012.

The song “Dona” will be sung in Macedonian.

Kaliopi was internally selected to represent Macedonia at Eurovision 2016 by MKRTV.

We are hoping it will be a case of ‘Bella Dona’ and a second time in the Grand Final for Kaliopi and Romeo.
