Who will represent the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2015? The question has been answered.
It will be a specially formed duet of Marta Jandová and Václan Noid Bárta. It is also confirmed that their song will be called ‘Hope Never Dies’. Well that is certainly the case as The Czech Republic have never qualified for the Grand Final of Eurovision. So this we hope is a statement of intent from the duo.
Marta and Václan were selected by an internal panel to perform at Eurovision 2015.
Marta is the daughter of the famous Czech rock musicians Petr Jandová. In 1993 she joined the German band Die Happy as their lead singer. After she left the band she remained in Germany and participated in Bundesvision Song Contest in 2005 with the group Apocalyptica and then in 2007 with the band Oomph.
In 2008 she returned to prague where she has worked as a TV presenter while continuing her solo music.
Václan was born to a musical family with both his parents working in the industry. His first band that he joined was called ‘Dolores Clan’. Since then he has become a very successful singer, composer and actor with many musicals to his credit.
We are sure to have some ROCK at Eurovision 2015 – #EXCELLENT
