Who will be participating at Eurovision 2015 in Vienna? That question has been answered this morning by the EBU.

So there will be 39 countries at Eurovision 2015 – 2 more than 2015.
Semi-Finals
16 countries will take part in the first Semi-Final on the 19th of May, and 17 countries will take part in the second Semi-Final on the 21st of May.
Date for your Diary : On the 26th of January, 2015, a draw will determine which countries will take part in which of the two Semi-Finals
10 countries will qualify from each semi-final and join the Big 5 and Austria in the Grand Final on May 23rd.
Despite offers from singers and producers in Ukraine they will unfortunately will not be in Vienna but hope to return in 2016. Bulgaria will also not be in Vienna despite their strong result at JESC a few weeks ago.
39 is a strong representation at the contest and should certainly bring some surprises to the contest. Well done ORF.
