Blic news agency have published that Serbian National Broadcaster RTS is alleged to have found the necessary funds to compete at Eurovision 2015, According to Blic news agency

“Head of the Serbian delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest and the editor of the RTS Dragan Ilic confirmed to ‘Blic’ that we will have a representative at the festival, and the 60th to be held in Vienna in 2015….It will cost Serbia 350,000 Euros to participate in the contest. Advertising and sponsors can cover 200,000 Euros, while the rest will be financed by RTS.”

Blic continues to claim that there is no final decision on how the Serbian representative will be selected but if a sponsor becomes available then they may use ‘Beosong’ again. Failing that then RTS will look to a more cost effective song selection.

It looks like we will have a strong Balkan contingency at Eurovision 2015. How good is that?
