Will Turkey be at Eurovision 2015? That is the question that has been dominating Eurovision speculation. There were also reports that Kenan Williams could be flying the Turkish flag at the contest in Vienna.

Eurovision Ireland spoke to the Head of International Public Relations Ms. TÜZÜN at TRT about the speculation of Turkey returning to Eurovision and they confirmed to Eurovision Ireland

“TRT won’t be participating in the 2015 contest in Austria and the future remains to be seen.”

This is indeed a disappointment to the contest especially on its 60th anniversary.

UPDATE

Almost 2 weeks after we posted the story TRT have today posted on their official website that they will not participate at Eurovision 2015 – SEE HERE

In the meantime we will have Turkvision to look forward to later in the year.
