Russia have released their song for Eurovision and that means that we have heard all the songs for 2014. We will be opening our “Annual Big Semi-Final Poll” (that sounds rude) shortly.

Firstly let’s see what songs the betting odds are saying on who will win Eurovision 2014?

You can see the full set of odds HERE

The Top 5 Betting Odds

  1. Armenia
  2. Sweden
  3. Norway
  4. Hungary
  5. Belgium

I would expect the odds on Belgium to shorten as we get closer to Eurovision itself.

The odds on Romania have drifted and they now find themselves as 9th favourite.

Of the Big 5 the Uk is leading the way as 8th favourite. The host country are at 7th and with a late draw in the final (23rd) they could do well.

Ireland are 16th favourite at the moment.

Surprises at the moment are Greece down at 19th and Malta at 23rd. Malta especially as this I think will score very well with Juries.

Who is least favourite to win in the betting odds? That honour goes to Portugal at present. I certainly don’t think it will be last at Eurovision but can I see it winning? Unfortunately not.

Ukraine and Russia find themselves side by side ironically in 10th and 11th places respectively. Expect those odds to change over the coming weeks as we will no doubt be commentating on.

Who do you think will win?

  1. This year will all come down to the actual performances – there’s no real favourite. As far as betting is concerned, I’m hoping Molly wins as my 66-1 fun bet last August will make me £1100 richer… :)
