Romania – Mihai Traistariu (Romania 2006) has just taken to his Facebook Page to apologise to his fans at his last-minute decision to NOT enter the Romanian Eurovision 2014 National Selection.

He had uploaded the song “I’m Sorry” and had asked for his fans opinions on the song. According to Traistariu
“after all the sleepless nights during the last weeks, after all the turmoil of uncertainty … in the end…. however , something tells me … it’s not my time … My heart dictates that”
He goes on to say that he does love the song “I’m Sorry” and will fully record it but that 2015 will be his year for a hopeful return to Eurovision. He would not like to go to Eurovision and come
“11th…15th….or God forbid 20th”
He goes on to say that he wishes the other contestants good luck and asks song writers to send him songs for 2015 NOW!
“See you next year. I wish all competitors success! Be best to have luck in winning ! I say good luck.. PS : DO NOT FORGET TO SEND ME 2015 Eurovision song … The stars say that … That would be the year my glory!”

Aw, that’s a pity. I like him but perhaps his song isn’t the best to go with. I quite like it. We’ll never know. I loved Tornero. I hope he comes back.
I think Tornero was a more instant song too Martin – but hey roll on 2015 then
