GEORGIA – GPB Georgian national Broadcaster) have announced that Mariko Ebralidze and The Shin will represent Georgia at Eurovision 2014.
In a ceremony today, last year’s representatives Sophie and Nodi, made the announcement.
The Shin are a band consisting of Zaza Miminoshvili (guitars, panduri), Zurab J. Gagnidze (bass, vocals,), Aleksandre Chumburidze (dance, doli) and Mamuka Gaganidze (vocals, percussion). The initial group came together in 1998 in Germany.
Mariko Ebralidze is a popular and respected jazz artist in Georgia.

One can expect a fusion of music for their Eurovision entry in 2014. No date or details have been announced how their song will be selected.
