Spain – Madrid. Yesterday we told you that speculation was growing in the Spanish Media that the boyband Auryn could be on the verge of being announced as Spain’s representatives at Eurovision 2014.

Today the band announced on Los40.com that they will not be representing Spain at Eurovision. The reason is due to their busy schedule that will be taking them to Latin America. You can read the announcement HERE

Rumors had stemmed from their tweet that they posted

However as we had said – we believed that they were at the TVE studios to record a Christmas Show – and this was indeed the case.

So that leaves both Spanish Eurovision Fans and Media guessing who will represent them at Eurovision 2014.

Spain’s last Top 3 finish in the contest was back in 1995 when Anabel Conde singing “Vuelve Conmigo” placed 2nd.
