Belarus started it’s search for their Eurovision 2014 representative this week. We had told you earlier that they had 60 applicants for their national final. 

Yesterday “Belteleradio Company” announced that they had in fact received 87 applications and the auditions took place at Studio 600 in Minsk on Wednesday and Thursday. The Jury – including Alyona Lanskaya – will reveal today their 15 acts that will contest the National Final in January.

The best result of Belarus at Eurovision remains Koldun’s “Work Your Magic” in 2007 that came 6th in the Grand Final.
