An Armenian Eurovision Act lends their song to an environmental short film. Their carbon footprint at Eurovision may not have been a shining light but will will overlook that due to their promotion of this good cause.

“Something New: A Short Film by Armenia Tree Project” . The plot of the short 15 minutes movie is according to the organisation, “Can two teenagers living 7,000 miles away from each other create a solution to one of the world’s environmental problems? American-born Armen never dreamed he would find what he discovers in Armenia, and he enlists his cousin Nuneh, living in a small village there to carry out his far-fetched plan.”

The Dorians who represented Armenia this year at Eurovision, have endorsed the movie by lending their song “Lonely Plant” to the soundtrack. They have been featuring the film through their social media channels.

This film was produced and directed by Kennedy Wheatley for ATP’s “Building Bridges” environmental education program.

A cute movie that is directed at a young audience – but worth a look by the more mature generation too whom need to learn of the benefits of recycling.
