Eldar – part of the Azerbaijan Winning duo of 2011 – has released his new single “Heartbreaker” that he has promoting for several months now. This song is a million miles away from his Eurovision winning song “Running Scared”.

It has a very American/Pop sound that you could see Justin Timberlake singing. A heavy electro bass chords with some electric guitars. A change in tempo leading up to the climax of the song works good. As you can hear from this performance, Eldar can sing easily live and his voice seems to have more depth to it since Eurovision 2011. There was always something very accessible about Eldar as a singer. This could be a hit in many parts of Europe for him as it is very radio friendly – and deservedly so.
