Mooney’s Eurovision Melodies comes back to the National Concert Hall on May 9th
With the 58th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden almost upon us, it is that time of the year when RTE presenter Derek Mooney and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra take ownership of the National Concert Hall in Dublin for a night of Eurovision Songs and guests.
Mooney’s Eurovision Melodies will again take place in the Main Auditorium at the National Concert Hall on Thursday, May 9th at 8pm. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra will be joined by Eurovision legends Niamh Kavanagh, Paul Harrington and many more stars as they perform many Eurovision classics from Ireland and abroad.
A walk down a Eurovision Memory Lane with “What’s Another Year?, In Your Eyes, Volare, Rock’n’Roll Kids” to get you in the mood. Like other years there will be a few surprises so make sure to get your ticket sooner rather than later.

Here is a video of Niamh Kavanagh performing at the event 2 years ago. It is amazing to hear Eurovision songs sung with a full orchestra again!
