The Second Heat in Melodifestivalen has just selected 2 direct finalists and 2 second chance contestants – and not without some shocks!

Tonight in Gothenburg 8 acts took to the stage

The 2 direct finalists were

• Sean Banan – “Copabanana”
• Louise Hoffsten: “Only the Dead Fish Follow the Stream”

Louise Hoffsten was the surprise Direct Finalist as the audience were very much behind Anton Ewald for the Direct Final Placing. Even Louise seemed shocked herself

The 2 Acts that will compete in the Second Chance Semi Final will be 

• Anton Ewald: “Begging”
  
• Erik Segerstedt & Tone Damli: “Hello Goodbye”

The other surprise was that “The Swedish Housewives” finished 6th in the Heat. They were expected to be fighting for a place in the final. 

Again the Interval Act was fun where  the performed “Indie Club” with a Bollywood style version of Danny Saucedo’s “In Da Club”

What shocks are we in for next week at Melodifestivalen
