Iceland – Melting with the heat of their performance
Now this is a song that I had not been overly fond of before I came to Baku but today Greta and Joni put on a performance that even the coldest of hearts could not warm to.
- Icelandic Eurovision Song – Again Iceland have decided to sing their song in English and it is sounding wonderful.
- Eurovision Contestants: Both Greta and Joni song with conviction and amazing harmonies.It is great to have a duet at Eurovision that know how to compliment each other without desperately trying to steal the lime light.
- Staging / Performance / Routine – Deep mysterious blue is the colour of Iceland. It compliments the song and adds another dimension to the song. With the change in the lighting at the right points in the song – Iceland are making themselves a contender. The backing singers are dressed in black and that helps in not detracting from the duet of Greta and Joni
Eurovision 2012 Predictions
Iceland maybe a cold place but here in Baku they are smouldering and electric. This is now a certain to qualify for the final and could do very well in the Final.

I think this is one of the better songs this year! And certainly much better than their song from last year.. You are so right about beautifull harmonies. I especially like the violet part at 1:43. Hopefully it will reflect in their points…
