SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have revealed the third & final 2026 inductee of the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame, during the grand final, on Saturday evening, in Stockholm.
Gina Dirawi made her debut in Melodifestivalen in 2012 and immediately won the hearts of viewers. With humour, sharpness and a presence that went straight through the screen, she quickly became one of the program’s most talked-about profiles. As the presenter with the most broadcasts under her belt in the history of the competition, she has an obvious place in the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame.
Christer Björkman, honorary Chairman of the Hall of Fame committee, had the following to say:
“Gina entered Melodifestivalen like a bolt from the blue, with a naturalness like few others. Already in her first programme, she set the tone with her charm, confidence and an ability to both surprise and engage. She went straight through the window and into the hearts of the Swedish people.”
