RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster and local politicians in the Valencian Community, have agreed to continue Benidorm Fest until at least 2028..

Benidorm Fest is set to be held until 2028, as Benidorm and RTVE have an agreement, which will also see the final potentially move back to the first weekend in February. The Councillor for Events. in Benidorm, Jesús Carrobles, had the following to say:

“We want to follow in the footsteps of other festivals like Sanremo or Viña del Mar.”
