
SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have held heat five & the final qualier of Melodifestivalen 2026 this evening – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
Six songs took to the stage in Malmö and here are the results from Heat Four:
- Lilla Al-Fadji – “Delulu” – First Finalist
- Sanna Nielsen – “Waste Your Love” – 84 points – Second Finalist
- Vilhelm Buchaus – “Hearts Don’t Lie” – 68
- JULIETT – “Far from everyone else” – 67
- AleXa – “Tongue Tied” – 55 – Final Qualifier
- Bladë – “Who You Are” – 30
The Final Qualification qualifier is the one to receive the most votes, not the most points. The votes were:
- AleXa – “Tongue Tied” – 1,396,363 votes
- Vilhelm Buchaus – “Hearts Don’t Lie” – 1,379,021
- JULIETT – “Far from everyone else” – 1,352,828
- Bladë – “Who You Are” – 953,565
A total of 489,937 members of the Swedish public cast a vote.
Following the completion of heat five, the final qualification round was held.
- Meira Omar – “Dooset Daram” – 527 points – Final Place 1
- Robin Bengtsson – “Honey Honey” – 437 – Final Place 2
- Eva Jumatate – “Selfish” – 408
- Jacqline – “Woman” – 385
- AleXa – “Tongue Tied” – 343
A total of 735,542kr was raised for Radiohjälpen.
