Cornelia Jakobs – Hold me closer

I’ll be honest, while attending the final of Melodifestivalen 2022, I didn’t have a stand out favourite. Once we got to Turin – still a Contest subject to Coronavirus rulings, a chat with Cornelia Jakobs wasn’t just a golden interview, but one carried out during the passing of a loved one. I only learned the news after the interview had been conducted.

While I didn’t have a strong connection with Hold Me Closer during Melodifestivalen 2022, I certainly did following the interview and hearing the personal news. Cornelia Jakobs finished in 4th place.
