RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster, has revealed the first guest performers for Festival da Canção 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.

RTP have revealed that Júlio Resende and Paulo Lapa will perform during semi final one of Festival da Canção 2026. Júlio Resende is a pianist and composer, while Paulo Lapa rose to prominence after appearing on The Voice Portugal in 2022. They will be performing a tribute to mark 50 years since Festival da Canção 1976.
