
SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, have announced the winner of Polstjärnepriset 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Yerevan.
The final of Polstjärnepriset 2026 took place last night, where the four remaining participants competed for a place at Eurovision Young Musicians, on Saturday 6th June. The four finalists and the winner are:
- Erik Dalhielm (Bass Saxophone)
- Sara Hagman (Violin)
- Hansine Pellbäck (Violin)
- Edward Ahlbeck Glader (Piano) – Winner
On selecting Edward Ahlbeck Glader as the winner, the jury had the following to say:
“Edward Ahlbeck Glader unites musical maturity with sincere playing and a passionate expression. His generous musicianship and strong charisma always feels spontaneous and his interpretation is created in the moment.”
