
SWR, the German regional broadcaster, have revealed further details about ‘Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale 2026‘ – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
As we have PREVIOUSLY reported, ‘Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale 2026‘ will be taking place on Saturday 28th February. The show will take place between 20:15 & 23:15 CET, although the exact format has yet to be determined.
Following ‘Eurovision Song Contest – Das Deutsche Finale 2026‘, ARD Mediathek will broadcast up to three episodes of ‘Inside ESC 2026 – Der Weg ins Finale’, focusing on preparations for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. In May, Das Erste will broadcast ’70 Jahre ESC – Die Doku’, a documentary looking back at 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest.
