
MRT, the North Macedonian national broadcaster, have received support in participation at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest.
MRT’s Program Council met on Thursday 11th December. During the meeting, it was revealed that MRT have the support to participate in the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest. Notes from the meeting stated the following:
“The President of the PC of MRT Davor Pasoski continued with information about the participation at the 95th General Assembly of the EBU in Geneva and said that in the talks with the EBU representatives it was emphasized that they are particularly pleased to expect Macedonia to be part of the Eurovision stage again in 2027, and the readiness to provide appropriate technical and organisational support for the realisation of that participation.
In that sense, he stressed that it is important to approach the preparations for next year in a timely and systematic manner in order for our country to successfully present itself at this important musical event.”
