🇦🇿 #JESC25: Azerbaijan Shine Bright At Junior Eurovision

On the lead up to the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, we will be taking a look back at participating countries past and present. Today we continue our look back with Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan debuted at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam. Omar and Suada participated with “Girls and Boys (Dünya Sənindir)”, finishing in 11th place and 49 points.

Rustam Karimov represented Azerbaijan at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv. Rustam Karimov participated with “Me and My Guitar”, finishing in 7th place and 66 points.

Fidan Huseynova represented Azerbaijan at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk. Fidan Huseynova participated with “I Wanna Be Like You”, finishing in 16th place and 47 points.

Sona Azizova represented Azerbaijan at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Paris. Sona Azizova participated with “One of Those Days”, finishing in 5th place and 151 points – Azerbaijan’s best position to date.

Yağmur will represent Azerbaijan at the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, with “Miau miau”. Can Yağmur achieve Azerbaijan’s first victory in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
