
RTSH, the Albanian national broadcaster, have announced a withdrawal ahead of Festivali i Këngës 64 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Egzon Pireci has withdrawn from Festivali i Këngës 64, with his entry “Thirrëm (Call Me)”. Festivali i Këngës 64 will continue with 27 acts and no replacement for Egzon Pireci. Egzon Pireci had the following to say:
“For personal reasons, I have decided to withdraw the song from the competition.
The decision of mine is in no way related to the organisation or staff of the festival, on the contrary, I thank them for their understanding and support.”
