SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster, doesn’t intend to participate, at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

SVT have confirmed to ESCspot that they don’t intend to participate, at the 2026 Junior Eurovision Song Contest – without any further reasoning. AHEAD of the 2025 Contest, SVT’s Communications Department, had the following to say:

“We continue with projects other than the Junior Eurovision Song Contest”.
