
On the lead up to the 2025 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, we will be taking a look back at participating countries past and present. Today we continue our look back with Portugal.
Portugal debuted at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest. Pedro Madeira participated with “Deixa-me sentir”, finishing in 14th place and 22 points.
Jorge Leiria represented Portugal at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam. Jorge Leiria participated with “Só quero é cantar”, finishing in 16th place and 15 points.
Mariana Venâncio represented Portugal at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi. Mariana Venâncio participated with “Youtuber”, finishing in 14th place and 54 points.
Rita Laranjeira represented Portugal at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk. Rita Laranjeira participated with “Gosto de tudo (já não gosto de nada)”, finishing in 18th place and 42 points.
Joana Almeida represented Portugal at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice. Joana Almeida participated with “Vem comigo (Come with Me)”, finishing in 16th place and 43 points.
