
RTP, the Portuguese national broadcaster, have revealed the selected composers, for Festival da Canção 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
RTP directly invited eight composers to participate in Festival da Canção 2026 – they are:
- André Amaro
- Bandidos do Cante
- Bateu Matou
- Cristina Branco
- Djodje
- EVAYA
- Inês Sousa
- Marquise
Six artists have been select from the open song submissions to participate in Festival da Canção 2026 – they are:
- AGRIDOCE
- Francisco Fontes
- Gonçalo Gomes
- Jacaréu
- Rita Dias
- Sandrino
Two more composers were selected. Dinis Mota was selected via Prova de Acesso, while Nunca Mates o Mandarim was invited by Napa – last year’s Portuguese entry at the Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
Song details for the composers and artists named, will be released at a later date.
