
DR, the Danish national broadcaster, have revealed further details for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Following the AGM of OGAE Denmark in Herlev, Erik Struve Hansen, producer of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix has revealed details surrounding the 2026 edition. These are:
- A new visual identity will be implemented – which you can see above.
- Eight songs will compete – former DMGP artists will return, while established artists will debut.
- Two focus groups will be involved in the song selection – eight Danes will form the Danish jury and there will also be a smaller International jury.
- The format will remain unchanged – the results will be decided by 50% jury vote and 50% public voting.
- DMGP 2026 will be hosted by Sara Bro and Alex Høgh Andersen – a TV & Radio host and an Actor.
