It has been confirmed that Céline Dion was in Basel and was due to perform “Ne partez pas sans moi” in the Grand Final.
This news was confirmed during recordings for an upcoming documentary on the 30th anniversary of Dion’s album “D’eux”. Céline Dion had travelled to Basel by private jet, however she suffered a seizure due to her stiff-person syndrome (a rare neurological disease which causes severe muscle spasms) upon arrival, which led her to immediately leave the venue and take a private jet back to Las Vegas, where she lives.
