
RTÉ, the Irish national broadcaster, have announced their new Head of Delegation, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
RTÉ have announced Alan Tyler as their new Head of Delegation for Ireland, at the Eurovision Song Contest. Alan has previously held the roles of Executive Editor of Entertainment Commissioning, at the BBC and Group Head of Entertainment & Music at RTÉ – a role he will be continuing. Katherine Drohan, Entertainment & Music Editor for RTÉ, has been appointed as the new Deputy Head of Delegation.
Alan Tyler replaces Michael Kealy, who has been the Irish Head of Delegation since the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Katherine Drohan replaces Clare Hughes, who was the new Co-Head of Delegation last year. According to an RTÉ spokesperson, Michael Kealy “has moved on from the role to co-executive produce The Late Late Show”.
