🇦🇹 #AUSTRIA: National Selection Returns For 2026

ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, have formally announced a national selection, ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.

For the first time since 2016, ORF will be holding a national selection to select their representative for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. Stefanie Groiss-Horowitz, Director of Programming at ORF, revealed the news during an interview for Kurier. The national selection will be a “big TV evening with lots of audience participation”. Further details will be revealed in due course.

In 2016, when the Austrians last held a national selection (Wer singt für Österreich? 2016), Zoë was selected with her song “Loin d’ici”. In Stockholm, at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Zoë finished in 13th place, with 151 points.
