🇱🇻 #ESC26: Latvia Confirm Participation; New Supernova Format Announced

LSM the Latvian national broadcaster, have confirmed their participation & Supernova 2026 – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.

LSM have revealed that the format of Supernova 2026, will consist of two semi finals and a final – the first time this format has been used since 2019. The Contest will take place over three weeks, on January 31st, February 7th & February 14th. Across the two semi finals, 10 entries will qualify for the final, however LSM will be allowed to award a wildcard to one entry that did not originally qualify for the final. It is currently unclear how many entries will participate over the two semi finals.

The song submissions window is opened today at 06:00 BST/07:00 CEST and will remain open until Wednesday 1st October, at 21:59 BST/22:59 CEST. The participating entries will be selected by a jury and will be announced during November.
