
RTL, the Luxembourgish national broadcaster, have revealed the date of the 2026 Luxembourg Song Contest – their national selection for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
RTL have announced that the 2026 Luxembourg Song Contest, on Saturday 24th January, at the Rockhal, in Esch-sur-Alzette. Applications for the Luxembourg Song Contest have opened and will remain open until Sunday 21st September – submissions can be made HERE. Successful candidates will be invited to audition in front of an international expert jury during the month of October, where the finalists of the Luxembourg Song Contest 2026 will be selected.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be Luxembourgish nationals, have lived in Luxembourg for three consecutive years or have strong links to the Luxembourgish cultural scene.
- Applicants must be at least 18 by Saturday 24th January 2026.
- Applicants must be available between November 2025 and May 2026.
Songs must meet the following requirements:
- Songs must not exceed three minutes in length.
- Songs must be original.
- Songs must not have been released or performed before Monday 1st September 2025.
- Songs can be in any language.
- Artists can submit up to three songs.
