It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.
For June 26th, we are continuing with Dana International. They represented Israel, with “Ding Dong”, taking 15th place in the semi final, with 38 points. Dana International is a Trans Woman. You can watch their performance of “I Can” below:
A trans woman or transgender woman is a woman who was assigned male at birth. Trans women have a female gender identity and may experience gender dysphoria. Gender dysphoria may be treated with gender-affirming care.
